Since we were not fortunate enough to have tickets for that evening’s country music show, we headed out against the incoming crowd. ![]() The complimentary Wind River Casino hats were crowd pleasers, as well. The elaborate and colorful Arapaho wardrobes and rhythmic rituals were amazing to see and appreciate. Here, we were treated to the one of the last Native American dance displays of the fair. Our final stop of the day was the Indian village. All around were large crowds and unending vendor stalls. Outside of the venue is Pioneer town depicting an old west village with a singing cowboy playing guitar. It was the next to last day and the rodeo finals were in full swing. Of course we were obliged to buy a couple of authentic western cowboy hats. Nice! Inside the venue are many food and merchandise stands of all types to browse or purchase. ![]() An employee noticed our hand stamps from the parking lot indicating we already paid and promptly got us a refund. We paid an additional $5 each for general admission tickets. Parking is scarce so we went to a remote lot for $10 which includes a free shuttle to the entrance. Our family visited for a day on a road trip to experience the event. Known as the Daddy of ‘em all, Cheyenne Frontier Days is an annual summer multi day festival of all things western. ![]()
